Real local beef raised by those who know it best!
We are now offering ground beef, and custom cut half and whole beef portions to our local community!
Our Pasture+® beef is raised and finished right here on our family ranch in Kenansville, FL. Pasture+® cattle live their entire lives on grass pastures and are supplemented with an all-natural grain based feed to achieve maximum marbling and excellent flavor. You can also rest assured that your Pasture+® beef has never been treated with hormones or antibiotics. Processing time may take two to four weeks from receipt of deposit. All whole and half beef purchases require a deposit payable by cash, check, or credit card and are priced as follows:
1/2 Steer: $1000 deposit, $7.00 per pound*
Whole Steer: $2000 deposit, $6.50 per pound*
Ground Beef: $10.00 per pound

Please use the contact form to direct any questions you have before placing an order.
*Pricing for whole and half beef is based on the hanging weight of the animal. The hanging weight is defined as the weight of the beef after it has been processed, but BEFORE it has been cut. The actual amount of take home beef will be approximately 60% of the hanging weight. This is due to loss of bone and trimmings.
How does this process work?
Once your order is placed and your deposit has been received, there are a few steps:
- We select your steer from the ranch and deliver it to our local processor.
- We will contact you to go over your custom meat cut selections. You can look over a cut sheet here. We are happy to help you choose your beef cuts! You can see our favorite way to order here. We like to call this our Ranch Standard Cut.
- At the processor, the beef goes through a process called dry aging for approximately 21 days. This process increases the tenderness and enhances the flavor of the beef.
- Once the beef is ready, we will pick it up from the processor and schedule a time for you to pick it up at the ranch! The beef will arrive frozen, and packed into cardboard boxes for you to take home.
Some Helpful Tips:
- Your beef purchase is an investment for your family! You will need a deep freezer. We recommend a 10+ cubic ft freezer for a half steer and a 21+ cubic ft freezer for a whole steer.
